Unexpectedly often comes
Despite our giant efforts to make our both Argus powered Storks A-97 and A-98 not only fly, but also legally airworthy to get them to the Nostalgy Airshow in Meiringen in time, this will not happen: Due to delays in the certification process, we unfortunately have to postpone the landing on the Gauli glacier with our freshly restored A-97. The Swiss Air Force Stork was already involved in the rescue operation of twelve US-Americans in 1946. It is meant to land on skier on the Gauli glacier to terminate our project „70 years Gauli Air Rescue“. We will do that at a later stage this year when all conditions necessary will be met.
On 13 May we will fly our A-99 to Unterbach and will take off short before 0900h AM to conduct a training landing on the Gauli, which will nevertheless be an aeronautical sensation!
